Second Autonomous X Prize Meeting

Paul Perrone, from Perrone Robotics, attended a second meeting organized by the X Prize foundation for a planned autonomous vehicle competition. The first meeting was held in Detroit in May of this year. This second meeting was held on August 19, 2011 in Washington DC in conjunction with an AUVSI symposium. The committee was formed to discuss and solicit parameters for an upcoming competition. X Prize Chairman and CEO Peter Diamandis was also on hand during the meeting after having announced plans for the competition the day prior during the AUVSI show.
