Showcasing LincVolt at JavaOne 2009 Keynote

Paul Perrone from Perrone Robotics graced the stage once again for the JavaOne 2009 keynote with James Gosling, the father of the Java programming language. This time, Paul was on stage with fellow members Jonathon Goodwin and Larry Johnson from Neil Young’s LincVolt project. The team drove LincVolt out onto the stage into the audience of roughly 10,000 attendees and described the 1959 Lincoln Continental’s conversion to an all electric vehicle with onboard generator. Paul discussed the MAX and Java-based technology that is driving LincVolt’s onboard sensing, telemetry, and controls.
