PRI Talks up Robots and Lasers at JavaOne

Paul Perrone talked up robots and lasers this year at Oracle’s JavaOne conference. Paul gave two different talks this year. His first talk was on Perrone Robotics’ recent work fusing Laser (LIDAR) data with RFID in a security application with Comtrol Corporation as OEM. His second talk was on Perrone Robotics’ ongoing work with Neil Young’s LincVolt car, now imbuing it with autonomous driving behaviors. This year’s conference was joined with Oracle’s broader OpenWorld conference with attendees blanketing the city and with conference sessions spanning multiple blocks and neighborhoods.
