Perrone Robotics Wins Duke's Choice Award for AVTS

Oracle selected Perrone Robotics to receive a Duke’s Choice Award for the company’s work with an automotive safety institute and development of the Autonomous Vehicle Test System (AVTS). AVTS helps automotive test companies test Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as part of their mission to test vehicle safety systems and overall vehicle safety. AVTS includes the Drop-in Actuator Kit (DAK) and Target Robot platforms that empower safety test facilities, vehicle OEMs and vehicle safety system suppliers to test safely, accurately and repeatably.Paul Perrone and Geoff Hoekstra accepted the award on behalf of Perrone Robotics at the 2014 JavaOne conference in San Francisco, CA. Paul Perrone also hosted a technical session and delivered a keynote address at JavaOne.
