Philadelphia Navy Yard in Service
We're thrilled to announce a significant leap forward in autonomous transportation with the launch of our TONY-based Ford E-Transit shuttle service at the Navy Yard Philadelphia.
This initiative marks a pivotal moment in our mission to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable transit solutions. The choice of the FMVSS compliant Ford E-Transit vehicle platform underscores a commitment to safety and roadworthiness, ensuring a secure and reliable service for all passengers. This all-electric, zero-emissions shuttle not only adheres to ADA compliance for accessibility but also meets Buy American compliance standards.
Operating at roadway speeds of up to 35 mph, the shuttle serves as a testament to the immediate scalability of our autonomous technology for fleet-level deployments. Not years away - but now, our TONY-based solution in combination with platforms like the Ford E-Transit passenger van is ready to revolutionize urban mobility.
We're proud to be partnering with a stellar team on this deployment: PIDC, AECOM, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, & Drexel University College of Engineering.
