Perrone Robotics Part of Trimble Dimensions+ 2022 Conference

Las Vegas is back and the Trimble Dimensions+ 2022 at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas November 7th-9th did not disappoint. Trimble is a leading provider of guided navigation solutions and products. Perrone Robotics has partnered with and leverages Trimble GPS/IMU technology in our TONY AV Kit. We were pleased to be part of the show showcasing one of our TONY-outfitted Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) with Trimble technology inside on the show floor. Our CEO Paul Perrone was also at the show to provide a dedicated talk on advanced localization techniques for AVs and sat on a panel to discuss new methods for localization of autonomous vehicles (AVs). The talk “AV Localization: A Blueprint to Getting There” described a comprehensive and complete methodology for assuring localization with AVs across environmental conditions. The panel “Autonomy Unleashed: How Technology Innovators are Making the Fully Autonomous Future a Reality” featured Paul Perrone, Fredrick Akesson, and Paul Newman answering questions from moderator Patricia Boothe and the audience on the state of the art as well as societal benefits and impacts of AVs.
