Perrone Robotics Hires COO

In November 2015 Perrone Robotics welcomed a new Chief Operating Officer as part of our strategy to pivot the company to focus on our MAX software platform.Greg Scharer joined the team with a exceptional combination of engineering and entrepreneurial skills obtained from over twenty years of experience across a variety of industries.During his career to date, Greg has started seven companies. He has also worked some of the largest companies in the world including recent engagements with Microsoft and Merck KGaA, where he worked as a consultant and as a team leader responsible for aspects of the Millipore and Sigma-Aldrich acquisitions respectively. Greg has experience in multiple business roles including engineering, operations, sales, product management, channel management, supply chain management, manufacturing, distribution, and finance. During the course of his career, Greg has successfully raised capital at every stage from angel to public offering.We knew Greg would be the right fit for Perrone Robotics upon our first meeting, his experience in software, biotech, electronics, distribution, manufacturing, retail, private equity, and venture capital, as well as his educational background in mechanical engineering made his transition to our team seamless.Greg is responsible for all facets of day to day operations. He works in conjunction with the CEO to establish strategic direction and our product road map. We are excited that Greg has joined our Team!
