First Intelligent Vehicle Dependability and Security Workshop

Virtual conferences may be here to stay if they're organized as well as the very first IFIP Intelligent Vehicle Dependability and Security (IVDS) Workshop held this past weekend. It was a great experience and pleasure to serve as a panelist during the AV in industry safety session. It was really great to see how well such sessions can be executed virtually with participants from all around the world in every time zone. From early risers in San Diego to late nighters in Japan on a Saturday and Sunday no less. Thank you to Homa Alemzadeh for the invitation and to Jay Lala, Tom Anderson, and Chuck Weinstock as well for coordinating and conducting a smooth panel session and conference. It was a great pleasure to sit beside fellow panelists Philip Koopman, Nirmal Saxena, and Wilfried Steiner during such an engaging and thought provoking discussion. Looking forward to next year's workshop already.
