Paul Perrone
Chairman of the Board - Founder/CEO Perrone Robotics Inc.
Paul is founder & CEO of Perrone Robotics. He is the inventor of “MAX”, the world’s first general-purpose robotics operating system for autonomous vehicles along with novel claims in robotics and AV safety approaches (patented in 2006). He’s been an early pioneer in the autonomous vehicle space leading Perrone Robotics for over 18 years in pioneering showcase achievements such as leading a team in the 2005/2007 DARPA Grand Challenges (autonomous vehicle races), early work with rocker Neil Young on vehicle automation, and creating rapid one-day drop-in autonomy solutions.
He spearheaded the Company’s Series A capital raise in 2016 (Intel Capital leading) and has continued to lead the company during its acquisition of flagship Fortune 500 customers including an automotive OEM, tier 1 automotive supplier, industrial mining equipment OEM, personal computer OEM, and automotive channel partner. He's currently leading the company's commercial deployment of autonomous shuttles for the transit of people and things via Perrone Robotics' "TONY" autonomous shuttle technology. He has 18+ years autonomous vehicle experience and 26+ years total hi-tech industry experience. His blend of experiences lies in the development of high-tech, business, and operations.
Nolan Bushnell
Board Member
Nolan Bushnell is a technology pioneer, entrepreneur and scientist. Often cited as the father of the video game industry, he is best known as the founder of Atari Corporation and Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theater. Over the past four decades, Bushnell has been a prolific entrepreneur, founding numerous companies, including: Catalyst Technologies, the first technology incubator; Etak, the first car navigation system whose mapping is still the basis for car navigation systems today; Androbot, a personal robotics company; and ByVideo, the first online ordering system, which allowed customers to order and pay for product from kiosks.
Bushnell has created many business cultural innovations that have become the norm, including unique business planning sessions, flat egalitarian management organizations, casual work attire, play/work environments, creativity as a competitive weapon, and the innovator’s bonus. All can be traced to their first use at Atari and Chuck E. Cheese and later instilled at Apple and other Silicon Valley corporations.
Keith J. Stone
Board Member - Chairman and Founder, CapStone Holdings Inc.
Keith J. Stone is an entrepreneur, FinTech expert, global fleet management technologies leader, and philanthropist with over 32 years of experience in international corporate fleet product development, global business operations, corporate strategy and B2B payments. Much of this work was accomplished through Corporate Spending Innovations (CSI), an entirely bootstrapped company that Keith established in 1989 and publicly sold in 2019, making for the highest private or public sale multiple in the FinTech industry to date at 25x EBITDA.
Keith’s first CSI fleet services international division company in Brazil sold to GE Capital Fleet in 1997 at record margins and multiples. In 1993 CSI Fleet Services proved to be the first fleet management software and services company throughout Latin America, working with brands such as FedX, Coca-Cola, Frito Lay, Bimbo Bakeries, Pepsi, General Motors Overseas Distribution, and hundreds of others.
Under the award-winning CSI Enterprises, Inc. brands, Keith founded and guided numerous U.S. and international companies from the ground up, developing each into a thriving organization with an exciting future. He also served as President, and Managing Director of GE Capital Fleet Services do Brasil and established a philanthropic organization that impacted over 30,000 at-risk youth.
Mark Lydon
Board Observer - Managing Director, Intel Capital
Mark Lydon is a Managing Director at Intel Capital and leads investments for Intel’s Internet of Things Group. Mark is a voting member of Intel Capital’s investment committee. Mark joined Intel Capital in 2000 and brings over 25 years of experience in venture capital investing, business development, engineering and operations spanning both high tech startups and Fortune 100 companies. Prior to Intel Capital, Mark held a variety of management positions in engineering, business development, sales and marketing at Dialogic Corporation, helping the company grow from a startup to a worldwide leader in telecommunications technology.
Mark began his career as an engineer at IBM, where he contributed to the development of the industry’s first integration of computer systems and telecom private branch exchanges. Mark invested in and managed exits for a number of companies including Vocera Communications (IPO on NYSE), Rapid Bridge (acquired by Qualcomm), Skyhook Wireless (acquired by Liberty Media), Continuous Computing Corporation (acquired by Radisys Corporation), China ITS (IPO on HKSE), IPTego (acquired by Acme Packets), Crossbeam (acquired by Blue Coat Systems) and Telera (acquired by Alcatel). Mark has a BS in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University.
