The KartBot is a complete UGV platform being offered by Perrone Robotics. Through an exclusive arrangement, Perrone Robotics is able to offer a professionally manufactured mobility platform, integrated with actuators, basic feedback sensors, electronics, the MAX software platform, and MAX-UGV services.

Transcore Vehicle Measurement

Perrone Robotics is working with Transcore to develop the next generation of high-speed vehicle measurement. Perrone Robotics leverages the MAX Vehicle Measurement Framework and SICK Laser Measurement Systems to gather data on height, width, length, and speed.

Lincvolt

Because the DARPA Challenges weren't enough for us, we've teamed up with one of the Automotive X-Prize contestants. From the Lincvolt web site: "Linc Volt is a 2.5 ton Lincoln Continental Mk IV convertible manufactured by Ford motors in 1959. At 19.5 feet long, it was the longest car of its era. A new series-hybrid system for powering the car is in the final stages of tuning and development."

Perrone Robotics is adding sensors and fusing sensor data together into a unified, touch-screen control panel.

Tommy and Tommy Jr: DARPA Grand Challenge 2005 and Urban Challenge 2007

The DARPA Grand Challenge is an event established by the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency which offers prize money for the team who can build completely self-driving robotic vehicles to complete a complex mission goal. There are no humans onboard and there is no human remotely controlling the vehicles. The vehicles are completely autonomous.
